Our Commitment
More Than
A Gym.
Being part of MPT has never just been about what happens inside these walls. It means showing up for the community that surrounds us.
Organizations We've Proudly Supported
Fitness Builds People
People Serve Others.
At MPT, we believe training has a purpose that goes beyond personal gain. The discipline, consistency, and community we build in the gym exist to be poured back out. When we get stronger, we use that strength for something.
Since 2000, we have shown up not just for our members, but for the city around us. We fundraise. We volunteer. We give. That is what it means to be part of the MPT community.
How We Serve
Three Ways We Show Up
We turn training sessions into acts of generosity. Our community sweats together with a purpose, raising money for causes that matter locally and beyond.
We show up in person. Serving hot meals, bagging lunches, building accessible spaces. Real work, real presence, real impact.
When someone in our network needs a hand, we mobilize. MPT members have rallied behind individuals, families, and organizations in moments that matter most.
Where We've Shown Up
The Causes We've Supported
Over the years, MPT has partnered with and supported a range of organizations and causes, locally and beyond.
We have raised thousands of dollars to help children in Richmond access sport, regardless of financial barriers. Our No Child Sits Out initiative reflects exactly what we stand for.
A national program giving children facing serious challenges a day they will never forget. MPT has been proud to raise funds that fuel those experiences.
Supporting this foundation's mission has been a privilege. We brought our community together to contribute to something bigger than ourselves.
We helped build a playground in Richmond designed to include every child. This was community-building in the most literal sense.
Our members have volunteered to serve hot meals to people experiencing homelessness. It is a reminder of what fitness is ultimately for.
We have bagged lunches and distributed them along East Hastings, showing up in one of Vancouver's most underserved areas with care and consistency.
When someone in our circle has faced hardship, we have organized fundraisers to rally around them. No one carries the weight alone.
We have raised funds for the BC Cancer Foundation's Tour de Cure, supporting cancer research and treatment across the province. A cause that hits close to home for many in our community.
Touchstone supports families in Richmond with essential services and programs. We have been proud to stand behind an organization that strengthens the foundation of our community.
Pathways Clubhouse supports adults living with mental illness, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose. We are honoured to have contributed to their work.
USAY empowers Indigenous youth through culture, community, and opportunity. Supporting their mission reflects our belief that strong communities are built when everyone is included.
Our community came together to collect toothbrushes, dental hygiene products, and feminine hygiene essentials, then distributed them directly to rural villages in Kenya. A small act of generosity with a lasting impact for communities with limited access to basic necessities.
The MPT Way
We Train With Purpose
Every event, every workout, every campaign is built on the same foundation: people matter, and what we do here should reflect that.
Fundraiser classes and challenge days where every rep counts toward something larger. We train hard and give generously.
Our community shows up when called. Whether it is on-site volunteering or spreading the word, MPT members lead by example.
We align with organizations that share our values. We are selective. When we commit, we go all in.
This is not a once-a-year initiative. Community outreach is woven into who we are and how we operate across every season.
