You guys have that "je ne sais quoi" that makes us addicts. The X factor for trainers. You are knowledgeable, unpredictable and can crack a joke. I'm just a few months in and feel like a million bucks.

Maki, it will be a year for me too in March! I remember my first session and wondering what I got myself into. It was SO hard! But it was you, the facilities and the other members that made me feel welcomed and motivated! Now I'm addicted and want to keep going! Thank you for your patience and for keeping the classes innovative and fun!

There are a ton of trainers who motivate from the lips..Maki, you motivate from your heart, that's what makes you a cut above the rest!...and you are one of the most humble men I have ever met..humility is a very attractive quality and you attract like minded individuals to you!

It's officially been one year since I showed up to my first Maki Fit Bootcamp class and I just wanted to say thank-you for the incredible year it has been. I remember after the first class thinking I have a long way to go, but I was determined to make a change and not get discouraged. Thanks to your motivation and inspiration I was able to accomplish my goal which was to focus on fitness, lose my pregnancy weight and gain back my confidence. I still have more I want to accomplish and I'm looking forward to success in 2012.

Ryan started football again yesterday and it looks like he has the potential to have a great season. I have to say that a lot of that potential is directly attributable to your efforts. You said after Xmas that if Ryan worked hard he would be stronger and faster than he has ever been. You have been true to your word Maki and Janet and I cannot be more thankful for all that you've done for him. Ryan has some pretty lofty goals in terms of football and whether he achieves them is in our view, not the most important thing. What's important to us is that he put his mind to something and gave himself every opportunity to be successful; and you were a big part of that. I went to watch their practice yesterday and I wish you could have seen it as well. What a difference. I didn't say anything to Ryan but it's like watching a different person. He's like a man playing against boys and he's so much more fit than the rest of the guys. In the meantime, we will certainly continue to put the word out about what a great job you've done. Thanks again Maki.
